I cannot even believe that this topic is up for debate. The answer is clear: 12 year olds should be allowed to watch M rated movies. So many already do. I mean why shouldn't they? Aren't they mature enough? They are about to go into high school and have everyone expect them to have to do everything by themselves, no parental help. So why can't they watch these harmless movies. And, yes, I know that some people believe that 12 years olds will copy what they see or something like that, but all we need responsibility and this is a perfect example. If we ban 12 year olds from watching M rated movies, it is like saying that we expect them to become mature instantly. They need to take little steps to becoming the mature 20 year old that lives by themself. So, yes it is clear to say that I am STRONGLY AGAINST this view.

You can find this on the OTHER side because i am a freak! Ha Ha HA !!!!!!!!!!

OPPS sorry i didnt read that this was the agree with having 12 yeasr NOT watch M Rated Movies!!!!!!!!! GEZZZZ. I feel sooooooo embaressed now!!!!!!!!!

That is not true in all cases Mrs N. We should be trusted to watch M rated movies because it isn't fair for the mature people who can watch them responsibly if they are not. How can we become mature young adults if we aren't even trusted to watch a simple M rated movie? And you wonder why we have 20 year olds still living at home? If we cannot be given a little responsibility at our age how are we going to go when we are released into the big wide world? Do you GET my point?

I kind of agree Madz but children should be trusted with the luxury of watching M rated movies without theri parents watching it first. But if they abuse this trust then yes your Idea SHOULD come into play. Here Here (Good job)

I Agree Zoe. It is up to the Kids to know wether or not to use the language or anything else seen in these movies. Here Here
